Squares are a basic building block of quilting. Great for both beginners and experienced quilters. This 6 1/2" cut square finishes to a 6" square. Ideal for background squares for small applique blocks and setting squares for checkerboard block layouts. This 6 1/2" square is one of eight basic shapes in the AccuQuilt GO! mix and match system die collection that work together to create typical 12" finished patchwork quilt blocks. This die is used in blocks such as Flashing Windmill, Sawtooth Star and Ohio Star. Die packaging includes project directions for a Squares To GO! quilt.

Brian S. ★★★★★

My rotary cutter and ruler used to make 6.5" squares take forever, but this die pops out a perfect stack in one press, and the cuts are clean enough that I don't need to trim a single edge. Even as a beginner, I felt confident running my fabric through it right away.

Sofia L. ★★★★★

I've been cutting squares for a sampler quilt and this die cuts through six layers of fabric like butter, saving me hours of measuring.

Daniel ★★★★★

Finally, perfectly uniform 6.5-inch squares every single time. The die cuts cleanly through multiple fabric layers without any shifting, saving me hours of measuring and trimming.
