Atkinson Designs: Bucket Brigade

The handles were surprisingly easy to attach, and the finished buckets hold all my quilting rulers perfectly. I made two for my desk at work to organize supplies, and they look great.

Stitched up two buckets for my sewing room and the optional handles were a breeze—no raw edges to fuss over, which saved me a ton of time. They’re sturdy enough to hold all my scissors and rulers without sagging. This pattern’s definitely going on my quick-gift list.

I used quilting cotton for the outside and flannel for the lining, and the optional handles were surprisingly easy to attach. They now hold all my sewing notions on the desk, and the structured shape keeps everything from tipping over.
