Made from Long Staple Egyptian Cotton. Ideal for detailed machine embroidery, red work, quilting, lace design and serging. This thread has really taken off with machine quilters. Long staple cotton gives this thread the strength needed for highs speed machines. Cotton Mako is also mercerized, giving it a sheen not found in most cotton threads.

Violet R. ★★★★★

I've been using this for my machine quilting and it glides through layers without any breakage. The 1422-yard spool is great value, and the dark grey color works perfectly for subtle stitching.

Olivia ★★★★★

The weight is perfect for piecing—it glides through my machine without tension issues, and the long staple cotton keeps it from shredding even on dense quilting passes. I've nearly finished my second spool already, the 1422 yards really does last.

Victoria ★★★★★

The dark grey shade is beautifully rich, and the long staple Egyptian cotton gives it a silky feel that barely causes any lint in my machine. I've used it for detailed embroidery and red work without a single break, and the 1422 yards feels like it'll last forever.
