Made from Long Staple Egyptian Cotton. Ideal for detailed machine embroidery, red work, quilting, lace design and serging. This thread has really taken off with machine quilters. Long staple cotton gives this thread the strength needed for highs speed machines. Cotton Mako is also mercerized, giving it a sheen not found in most cotton threads.

Brian B. ★★★★★

This 50-weight thread sews like butter through my machine, even on dense quilting patterns. The long staple Egyptian cotton gives it a smooth finish that barely frayed during my last project.

Richard Y. ★★★★★

I’ve used this 50-weight cotton for quilting a detailed panel and the long staple construction truly cuts down on lint in my bobbin case. The 1422-yard cone lasts through several projects without a breakage. Stitch quality stays crisp even on tight curves.

Jacob ★★★★★

This thread glides through my machine like butter, and the long staple Egyptian cotton makes it strong enough for detailed quilting without any fraying. I’ve already used half the spool on a single project—it’s that reliable.
