Blue Labyrinth Quilt Pattern by Brigitte Heitland Zen Chic

The interlaced square layout creates such a convincing overlapping illusion that I kept double-checking my seam allowances. The 60" finished size is perfect for a throw, and the instructions walked me through every step of the log cabin construction without any confusion.

The overlapping illusion really pops once you get the blocks sewn together, and the 60-inch square size works perfectly for a lap quilt. I had to concentrate on the piecing order a few times, but the intermediate level description was accurate and the final result looks much more complex than it was

This pattern was surprisingly easy to follow despite the intermediate label. I loved how the interlocking squares created that overlapping illusion, and my final 60-inch quilt top came together perfectly.
