The oversized cocoon shape is so cozy and the instructions for finishing the quilted seams are really clear. I finished mine in a weekend and have already worn it out twice.

I love that this pattern lets me turn a finished quilt into a wearable coat—the oversized cocoon style is exactly what I was hoping for. The instructions were clear, and it came together faster than I expected.

The oversized cocoon shape gives it that perfect slouchy drape, and sewing it from a quilt makes it feel like wearing a warm hug that also turns heads. I’ve already gotten three compliments on it at the farmer’s market, which says a lot for a coat I made in a weekend.
