This 46" x 64" holiday quilt features Starlit Holiday by Sian Summerhayes for Mia Presley Designs. The quilt is made up of gift blocks, tree blocks and star blocks. The modern motifs and cool blues makes me think of ice sculptures, sleigh rides and hot chocolate on a cold and frosty winter night.

I was worried the cool blue palette might feel too modern for a Christmas quilt, but the way the star and tree blocks pop against it is surprisingly festive. The pattern instructions were clear enough that even a slightly rusty quilter like me got the 46" x 64" top pieced together in a weekend.

The gift, tree, and star blocks came together beautifully, and at 46" by 64" it's the perfect size for draping over a couch. The cool blue palette feels refreshingly modern for the holidays, not the usual red and green.

Eva ★★★★★

Finally, a modern Christmas quilt pattern that isn't all red and green. The cool blue palette makes the gift, tree, and star blocks really pop. Can't wait to see this stitched up on my bed.
