Miles L. ★★★★★

I’ve been using this to transfer pattern markings onto dark denim and the white chalk shows up clearly without smudging everywhere. The brush on the cap is a nice touch for cleaning up lines once you’ve sewn the darts, and a damp cloth takes off any stubborn bits just as described.

Abigail ★★★★★

The tip is fine enough to mark buttonholes precisely, and the chalk brushes off cleanly without leaving any residue on the fabric.

Daniel T. ★★★★★

The chalk marks brush off cleanly with the built-in brush, which is perfect for marking darts and buttonholes without leaving a permanent stain. Been using it for pattern alterations and it transfers markings accurately from the pattern to the fabric.
