Adam ★★★★★

I’ve made the 24” pillow cover and the deer blocks came together really nicely with standard patchwork—no paper piecing needed. The instructions for the smaller quilt size are just as easy to follow, and the finished blocks have a charming, clean look.

The instructions are so clearly laid out that even the pillow cover’s 24” square felt manageable, and I love that there’s no paper piecing involved. I finished the smaller quilt in a weekend and the deer faces came together perfectly.

I was thrilled to find a pattern that uses conventional patchwork instead of paper piecing—it made these deer blocks so much more approachable for a confident beginner like me. The 24-inch pillow cover option is a perfect weekend project.
