The amethyst color is even richer in person, and the 43-inch width gave me plenty of fabric for my quilt blocks without waste. It sewed up smoothly with minimal fraying.

The fabric has a nice, smooth hand that makes it easy to cut and piece accurately, and the amethyst color is a perfect deep purple. I’m using it for a quilt backing and it feels substantial without being stiff.
