The 5" Double Curve Scissor allows for easy maneuverability while trimming your embroidery hoop designs. The sharp, precise tips provide an accurate cut for embroidery stitches as well. Additionally, this is the modernized replacement of the classic duck-bill scissors. As with the rest of KAI 5000 series scissors, the Double Curves are made of a hardened stainless steel. This allows for a smooth and consistent, fatigue-free cut.

Finally, a pair of scissors that actually lets me see what I’m cutting without my hand blocking the view. The sharp tips snip each thread so cleanly, I don’t have to worry about frayed edges on my embroidery.

David O. ★★★★★

The double curved blades make trimming around tight curves in my embroidery so much easier without accidentally snipping the fabric. I also love how the sharp tip gets right under the threads cleanly.

Joseph W. ★★★★★

Cutting out my latest hoop design was so much easier with these—the double curve lets me angle the blades without twisting my wrist awkwardly. The tips are sharp enough to snip right up against the stitches without nicking the fabric.
