Little Halloween Pillows by Barri Sue

These six little pillows stitch up fast and the instructions walk you through every step of the piecing and applique. I love that they're all slightly different sizes, makes the finished set feel so handmade and charming on the shelf.

The instructions for the applique are so clear that my first pillow came together in a single afternoon, and the finished 8-inch size is perfect for propping on the couch. Each of the six designs has its own little personality, so I'm already picking out fabrics for the next one.

I’ve already finished three of the six pillows, and each one turned out exactly like the pictures—the applique steps were broken down so clearly that even a beginner like me didn’t get stuck. The slight size variation between the 8-inch squares gives them a charming handmade feel.
