The playful pup with a modern attitude returns in this new mini version! Improv slash 'n sew techniques make this a fun, fast, and liberating project for quilters of all skill levels. All that is needed are 10 strips that are 2.5" x 14" and a fat quarter for the background. The pattern includes detailed instructions for color diagrams and a full scale pattern - no reducing or enlarging. You can make the Mini Mod Dog into a cute 12" x 16" wall hanging or pillow. Makes a great class to learn improv piecing combined with machine applique.

Sofia E. ★★★★★

Finally got around to trying the improv slash 'n sew technique from this pattern and it's surprisingly forgiving for a beginner like me. The mini pup design came together in just one afternoon, which felt super rewarding.

Matthew P. ★★★★★

The slash 'n sew techniques made this project feel creative and forgiving; I love how the mini size lets me finish it in a single afternoon.

Jacob ★★★★★

This pattern is perfect for a weekend project—the mini size means you can finish it before you even get bored. I loved how the slash 'n sew directions let me be a little reckless with my fabric and it still came together beautifully.
