Victoria ★★★★★

The studio-audience energy really comes through on this DVD—you can hear the crowd reacting to every beat of the December 2010 taping. Picture and sound are crisp, and the Diamond Studded Courthouse pattern is as intricate as ever. It’s a solid addition to anyone’s collection of the monthly series.

The Diamond Studded Courthouse pattern from the December 2010 Block Party is so intricate, I noticed new details each time I watched. The 40-minute runtime felt perfectly paced for the performance.

The December DVD captures that live Block Party vibe well, and the Diamond Studded Courthouse track is a clear highlight. My only small gripe is the video transfer looks a bit dated, but the performance energy makes up for it.
