Town Square Sampler DVD

2 HOURS 55 MINUTES OF VIEWING

Seven episodes on two VHS tapes, with Eleanor, and guests, demonstrating step by step contsruction of each row of this quilt, including a variety of additional projects. She shows how to portray different seasons by your choice of fabric prints and colors.

Celebration in Town Square

Take a nostalgic look at Town Square blooming in spring pastels, or a chilling winter palette. Eleanor builds the foundation with easy strip sewing for Edna's Pinwheel and Four Patch Blocks.

Central Park

The sweet smelling Magnolia Bud and Crisp Maple Leaf share pieced square techniques. Eleanor makes the two blocks "a walk in the park."

Grandmother's Choice

Eleanor ties her quilt together with family yarns, and an easy way to make a Grandmother's Choice block. Add a pieced square, and the block becomes Duck and Ducklings.

Stars of Friendship

A blanket of Stars covers the town. Eleanor tucks us in with the top row, Stars of Friendship, easily made from triangles, rectangles and squares.

Main Street

Eleanor builds the blocks and sets pieces together for the home town school, church, cottage and trees. Bring memories to life with a trip down your own quilted "Main Street."

Celebration Angels

See how the Angels are fused together and united on the quilt. Eleanor's two methods of applique are heavenly.

Binding the Town Together

Eleanor sews the town together, and surrounds it with a Split Rail Fence border. Add quilting and bless the ties that bind.
