Waterfall II is a delightful gradating ombre log cabin quilt pattern highlighting a single colorway. Choose six hues from light to dark in a single colorway and add in a darker sashing fabric, or make it your own and use a variety of colors. The pattern includes two sizes – Throw and Queen. The cover quilt is made with Moda Grunge, and the fabric names and numbers are included inside the pattern. The difference between Waterfall and Waterfall II is the number of fabrics used in the quilts. The original Waterfall quilt has 12 colors with teals on one side of the log cabin block and blues on the other side of the log cabin block. Waterfall II has 7 colors with both sides of the log cabin block made from the same color.

Kevin Y. ★★★★★

The gradating ombre effect is exactly what I was hoping for, and the instructions for keeping each log cabin strip in order are crystal clear. I've already mapped out my six hues and can't wait to see the sashing pop against the dark fabrics.

Olivia ★★★★★

Started cutting the pieces for the lightest hue first, and the way the log cabin blocks build into that gentle gradient is so satisfying. The pattern instructions for the darker sashing fabric are clear, making the whole process feel really smooth.

William W. ★★★★★

I’m impressed by how the graded ombre effect builds seamlessly from lightest to darkest, making each block pop without extra fuss. The log cabin construction was a breeze to follow, and the single colorway really transforms the whole quilt into a cohesive piece.
