I was a bit intimidated by the block-based layout at first, but the instructions for the Crib size are so clear and the movement in the pattern is really satisfying once you see it come together.

The two-booklet setup is a smart touch—I can follow the crib diagrams with my small machine and still have the throw chart ready when I want to go bigger. The line and movement effect comes together exactly as the diagrams suggest, even for a first-time quilter like me.

I was a little nervous about sewing curves, but the two-booklet format made it surprisingly easy to manage on my machine. The twin-size instructions are really clear and the layout suggestions for the blocks gave me exactly the movement I was hoping for.
