Bees Knees - Villa Rosa Designs

I was a little nervous about tackling a 56 by 72 inch quilt, but the instructions broke everything down so clearly that it never felt overwhelming. The finished piece has such a playful, classic look that I'm already planning a second one in different colors.

The finished quilt came out at exactly 56 by 72 inches, which fits my bed perfectly, and the diagram for piecing those bee blocks was clear enough that even my first attempt looked sharp. I've already cut fabric for a second one in brighter colors.

I love how the pattern instructions are so clear—the 56 by 72 inch finished size is exactly what I needed for my guest bed. Piecing the blocks together was a breeze, even for my second quilt.
