I was a bit intimidated by quilt patterns with diamonds, but this book's no-Y-seam approach made it so much easier. The Labyrinth design built from half-square triangles really comes together faster than I expected.

The technique of using only half-square triangles makes this pattern feel much more approachable than other quilting designs I've tried. The finished labyrinth block really does create that complex visual effect without any of the intimidating "Y" seams.

I was nervous about tackling a labyrinth pattern, but the no-diamond, no-Y-seam instruction set made the whole process so much smoother. The half-square triangle method really simplifies everything without sacrificing the intricate look.
