I’ve made three of these monthly wall hangings now and the instructions are so clear, even my first wool applique project came together without any ripping out. The flannel background gives it that cozy, homespun feel, and the finished size hangs perfectly on a small stand by my sewing nook.

The flannel background gives the wool applique a lovely, soft texture that feels so cozy to stitch. I’m already thinking about hanging this March piece in my sewing nook, and the pattern directions are clear and easy to follow.
