Half square triangles came together beautifully with this pattern, and I loved how the diagrams made the assembly feel intuitive even for a first-time quilt project. The layer cake friendly design saved me so much cutting time.

I’ve never worked with half-square triangles before, but this pattern made the process surprisingly easy with clear diagrams for each step. The fact that it’s layer cake friendly saved me so much cutting time for my lap quilt. Finished size is perfect for curling up on the couch.

The instructions for cutting the layer cake pieces are clear and well laid out, which saved me time. I’m almost done with the top and the half square triangles are coming together perfectly for a beginner like me. Only wish the pattern included a few more size options.
