The plaid pattern is exactly the right scale for fussy-cutting little holiday blocks, and the cotton has a lovely crisp hand that presses beautifully. I've already used it in a table runner and the light red works well with both cream and darker greens.

The red in this plaid is a nice soft shade, not the harsh bright red you sometimes get with holiday prints. The cotton feels sturdy and should hold up well through washing and quilting. It's a charming addition to my Christmas projects.
