I was nervous about marking my dark denim, but this pencil’s tip is slim enough for exact seam lines and the chalk dust wipes off clean with a dry cloth before I press. The little sharpener in the cap is a lifesaver, too.

The tip stays sharp enough for precise curves and corners, which is exactly what I needed for marking darts and seam lines. I tested it on a scrap first like the instructions say, and the marks come off cleanly with a wash.

I wasn't sure I'd use a fabric pencil regularly, but the fine tip makes marking darts and seam lines so much more precise than chalk or a wheel. The sharpener is a welcome bonus to keep the point ready for detailed work.
