The finished wallet holds a surprising amount of jewelry for its compact 8x4 inch closed size. I especially liked that it's fat quarter friendly, so I used scraps from my stash. Took me about two hours to sew, just like the pattern says.

The pattern was so straightforward that I finished the travel wallet in just over two hours, even with a few coffee breaks. The finished size at 8x4 inches closed is perfect for stashing in my carry-on.
