Enchanted Quilt Pattern by Saginaw St Quilts

The fabric suggestions in the pattern really help you pick batiks that blend well, and the soft color palette flows beautifully from block to block. I followed the layout instructions carefully, and the arcs created a stunning, cohesive look that surprised me with how easy it was to achieve.

The way the batik fabrics softly blend into each other gives this quilt a watercolor feel, and the pattern instructions were clear enough for me to follow without any trouble. I started piecing it together over a rainy weekend, and the dark blue arcs really help ground all the soft colors.

The dark blue arcs that separate each color block make the pattern almost look like stained glass once the quilt top is pieced. I’ll definitely try it again with a few more high-contrast batiks to push the effect even further.
