I’m not much of a sewer, but even I can tell the pattern is cleverly designed—the way the shell pieces curve together is spot-on. It turned into a charming little snail that’s now the cutest spool holder on my desk.

The little snail body has the perfect curve for holding pins right where I need them while I sew, and it’s such a cheerful shape to keep on my desk. I just finished one for my mom who gardens, and she grinned the whole time she was stuffing it.
