The diagonal lines really catch the light in a way that makes the poppy pattern pop, and the aubergine is even richer in person. I’m already planning a second quilt just to use more of it.

I was a little worried the aubergine would be too dark, but against other fabrics the pop of poppy really comes through beautifully. The hand is soft and the print registration is crisp, which made cutting my quilt blocks a pleasure.

The diagonal poppy motif reads beautifully in this aubergine colorway — the pattern pops without being loud. Fabric has a nice sturdy hand, perfect for piecing without fraying too much at the edges. I’ve already cut into it for a lap quilt and it pressed like a dream.
