The licorice background really makes the jewel-toned Prince Charming motifs pop—perfect for a dark, whimsical quilt. I just wish the fabric had a bit more drape, as it's stiffer than I expected for a 100% cotton. Still, the print quality is outstanding.

The pattern is crisp and the licorice background gives it a moody feel that's hard to find in cotton prints. It's a bit stiffer out of the package than I hoped, but a wash softened it up nicely.

The fabric is a true 44/45 inches wide, which gave me plenty of room for my quilt backing without piecing. The licorice tones are nicely balanced with the multicolor design, though I wish the print had a bit more contrast up close. It pressed beautifully and feels sturdy for a 100% cotton.
