The six size options sealed it for me—I made the baby version for a friend and already have the queen cut out for my own bed. Instructions are so clear that I didn't second-guess a single seam, and those fat quarters came together into the prettiest stars.

The fat quarter-friendly layout was a pleasant surprise, and the instructions for trimming blocks made the star points align perfectly. I sized up to the queen option for my bed and it came together faster than expected.

I’ve made three versions of the star block already, one in each size, and the fat-quarter layout guide really does the heavy lifting for you. The six size options meant I could start with a baby quilt and scale up without re-figuring anything.
