Gnome Snow Globe Ornament Pattern by Stacy West / Buttermilk Basin

This pattern stitches up so quickly that I knocked out two ornaments in one afternoon. The gnome design is adorable and the finished piece at 5.5 x 6.25 inches hangs perfectly on my tree without overwhelming it.

The 5.5 x 6.25 inch size is perfect for stitching up a quick gift, and the minimal supplies required make it ideal for a last-minute project. I already have plans to make several more for a monthly ornament set.

This was such a quick and fun sew—I had the little gnome assembled in under an hour using scraps from my stash. The pattern is clear enough that I'm already planning a whole set for an ornament exchange.
