HOFFMAN - Coffee Shoppe by Hoffman Challenge Batiks - 黑色 - K70100

I’ve washed this batik twice already and the black stayed deep with no fading—the coffee shop motifs are crisp and the dye work in Bali really shows. It drapes beautifully for a quilt backing, though I wish the bolt had a bit more yardage.

The black background really makes the coffee cup motifs pop, and the hand-dyed texture from Bali gives it that authentic artisan feel. I'm already planning a quilt top around this piece, the fabric has a nice hand and didn't fray when I prewashed it.

I love how the Bali-made batik process gives this fabric an authentic hand-dyed look that no machine print could replicate. The tiny coffee cup motifs are perfectly spaced against the black—so versatile for bags or quilt accents.
