I was pleasantly surprised by how the multi-toned richness of the Petal Bourbon colorway shows up—it's exactly the natural depth I was hoping for in my quilt. The fabric feels soft and has just the right weight for piecing.

The hand feels wonderfully soft despite the rich, deep coloring, and the multi-toned Petal Bourbon shade adds real depth to my quilt blocks. I've already ordered more yardage because the color shifts so nicely depending on the light.

The depth in this batik is perfect for fussy-cutting—each section seems to catch the light a bit differently. It pressed flat without any stubborn creases, which made piecing go faster than I expected. This Petal Bourbon tone is going to blend beautifully with my earthy stash.
