ISLAND BATIK - Breezy by Kate Colleran - 落葉 - 貝殼 - K40018-

Falling Leaves is such a perfect quilting print, and the subtle shell background makes it incredibly versatile. I'm already planning how to use it in a coordinated quilt; the leaf shapes are beautifully defined.

The Falling Leaves print is perfectly crisp against the soft shell background—it's going to make a stunning quilt top. Already planning what to pair with it for a fall-themed project.

The hand-feel on this shell batik is lovely—soft but with enough body that my quilt blocks pressed flat without any shifting. The falling leaves motif is subtle enough to blend, yet the print adds just the right texture for a scrappy fall project. Already cut into my second yard.
