KAUFMAN - Kona Cotton - Chalkboard

This chalkboard color is incredibly rich and deep—it reads almost like a true dark gray in natural light. The fabric has a nice, tight weave that pressed up perfectly for my recent quilt project. I'll definitely be ordering more of this shade.

This fabric pressed like a dream and the color is a true deep charcoal, not a washed-out gray. It’s sturdy enough for a tote bag but still soft for piecing.

I cut a crib quilt from this and the matte grey-black held up beautifully through pre-wash — no fraying at all. The hand feel is nice and dense, perfect for piecing.
