Lisa the Unicorn Pattern by Elizabeth Hartman

The unicorn blocks went together so smoothly with the precut strips, and the floor pillow is going to be the star of my niece’s reading nook. The instructions for both quilt sizes are laid out clearly, so even my first time with a Hartman pattern felt easy.

I love how the pattern uses 2.5" precut strips—saved so much time cutting and the unicorn blocks came together beautifully. The floor pillow turned out even softer than I'd hoped, and my daughter hasn't stopped cuddling with it.

I was nervous about making the floor pillow since I’m still learning, but the diagrams for the unicorn blocks were so clear I only had to unpick one seam. Both quilt sizes are tempting now, and the 2.5" strips from my stash disappeared fast.
