Maple Island Quilts: 目的地

I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy this pattern is—the canvas recommendation really holds up. The flat bottom gave my finished bag a nice structure that sits perfectly on its own.

The 24-inch handle length is just right for carrying over my shoulder, and the 1.5-inch flat bottom gives it a nice, stable structure. I'm excited to try fussy cutting some large floral motifs for the front panel.

Finally a bag pattern where the 1.5-inch flat bottom means it actually stands up on its own while I'm cutting. The 54-inch denim I used worked perfectly and the finished size is just right for a large project.
