The speckle density is just right—not too busy, but it reads as texture from a distance, which makes it perfect for piecing without overwhelming the quilt design. The speckles read as a soft lilac wash from a distance but pop up close, which is exactly what I wanted for a quilt backing. The hand feels smooth and the weave is nice and tight, so it should hold up well through multiple washes.

The subtle purple speckle is exactly what I needed for a calm background fabric, and it cuts beautifully without fraying. Just a small note: the pattern is a bit more subdued in person than the online swatch suggested, but it still sews up nicely.
