MODA - Gathered Lollies by Jen Kingwell - Eight - Hazel

The Hazel colorway is such a soft, earthy tone, and the fabric's weight feels substantial without being stiff. I'm using it as a background for my star blocks and love how the subtle pattern helps the bright colors pop.

This works perfectly as a subtle blender for my scrappy log cabin blocks—the scale of the print is just right. It’s soft and presses beautifully, which made piecing a breeze.

The hazel tones in this print are so warm and earthy, they blend beautifully with my other stash pieces. I’m already thinking about how to use it as a soft background in my next quilt.
