This burgundy is such a deep, rich shade that it disappears into my quilt binding seams beautifully. The single fold lies flat without any twisting, and the fabric has a nice crisp hand that's easy to press around curves.

The burgundy color is richer in person than on screen, and the 2 1/4 inch width gives a nice substantial feel for finishing a throw blanket. I used it on a recent project and it pressed flat without any puckering.

I needed a wide binding for a heavy quilt, and the 2-1/4" width was perfect—plenty of fabric to fold over the edges. The fabric itself is soft and presses neatly.
