MODA - Portofino by Fig Tree & Co - Cobblestones - Sienna

The Sienna colorway is just the warm, rich brown I needed for a quilt backing, and the fabric has a lovely soft hand that pressed beautifully. It's sturdy enough for piecing but drapes nicely, which makes it versatile.

The cobblestones pattern is so subtle and grounding, and the warm brown has a depth that photographs beautifully. I've already cut into it for a quilt backing and the hand feels lovely, no stiffness at all.

I've been using this fabric for a quilt backing and the warm brown neutral grounds the brighter prints nicely. The cobblestone pattern is subtle enough not to compete, which is exactly what I needed. Only wish the color was slightly richer in person.
