I chose the small size for a compact everyday bag, and the flat base keeps it from tipping over when I set it down, which is such a practical detail. The recessed zipper closure gives it a clean, polished look that I really appreciate.

The zippered front pocket on the mid-sized version is surprisingly roomy, and the flat base means it stands up on its own without slouching. I've already made it twice—once with the crossbody strap and once with the handles—and both turned out exactly how I hoped.

The instructions for the two size options are incredibly clear, making it easy to build a sturdy flat base. I love how the pattern walks you through customizing both the handles and the closure options.
