Running this ruby red thread through my machine for reverse quilting gave my project an incredible shimmer that photos don't capture. It's thicker than standard thread, so I had to adjust my tension a little, but the final decorative effect was totally worth it.

I've been using this for bobbinwork on a dark red quilt and the metallic sheen really pops against the fabric. The 8wt thickness makes it substantial enough to create nice texture without constant breakage, which surprised me.

The ruby color is absolutely stunning against dark fabrics, and the 8wt thickness made couching it a breeze on my latest quilt. Even around sharp curves, the metallic finish stayed intact without any fraying—I’m already planning my next project with this thread.
