RILEY BLAKE - Expressions Batiks: 無色彩之舞 - Gunsmoke - K65064-

This batik has such a rich, almost silky feel to it—the hand-dyed look is even better in person. I’m using it for a quilt backing, and the Gunsmoke shade adds just the right neutral depth.

The Gunsmoke gray in this batik is a perfect neutral base for my quilt projects, and the hand-dyed look gives it a subtle depth that reads as elegant rather than flat. It cut cleanly without fraying, which made piecing a breeze.

The batik texture is so smooth and even, it presses beautifully for piecing. I used it as a background in a modern quilt and the subtle gray really lets brighter fabrics pop.
