The instructions are so clear even as a first-timer I had my top finished in a weekend. I love that it works with both jelly rolls and fat quarters, so I could finally use up those mismatched scraps. My fabric really does take center stage with this design.

I grabbed a jelly roll from my stash and had this quilt top pieced in one afternoon; the instructions for nesting seams on the half-square triangles were incredibly clear. The fat quarter option let me mix in a few favorite prints, too.

I’ve made this pattern twice now—once with fat quarters and once with scraps—and both times the instructions were so clear I didn’t have to stop and re-read a single step. The way it lets busy fabrics shine without fighting each other is exactly what I needed for my overflowing stash.
