I was pleasantly surprised that these fruit blocks come together with regular patchwork—no fiddly paper piecing needed. The 17 different fruit designs are so clever and adorable. Already planning which two sizes to make first.

The instructions are laid out so clearly that even a beginner like me felt confident tackling the strawberry block first. I love that there are no templates to fuss with, just straight-up patchwork, and the two size options give me a reason to make it twice.

I’ve been collecting Elizabeth Hartman patterns for a while, and this one is just as charming—I love how each fruit block uses simple pieces, no paper piecing needed. The only downside is the cutting takes some focus to keep all 17 distinct, but the finished quilt is totally worth the effort. Really
