Windham Fabrics - Summersault by Tamara Kate - 野餐毯 - 花瓣色

I’m using this picnic blanket fabric for a light summer tote, and the petal colorway has a lovely muted pink that’s not too loud. The cotton feels soft but sturdy enough for a bag lining.

The print is so cheerful and the petals have a nice crispness to them that makes it feel more expensive than it is. I’ve already got two fat quarters set aside for a summer quilt and the colors blend perfectly with solids I had at home.

The petal colorway is even prettier in person, and the picnic blanket print adds a playful touch. I've already used it for a small quilt top and the fabric pressed beautifully without stretching out of shape.
